BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Navy senior Jack Tarzy received Patriot League Men’s Golfer of the Week, and Bucknell senior Paige Richter and freshman Joelle Johnson received Credit Union 1 Co-Women’s Golfer of the Week when the League office announced honors on Wednesday.  
 
Tarzy captured Patriot League Men’s Golfer of the Week honors for the second time this season after tying for first at the Nassau Intercollegiate by shooting a 2-over par 212 (73-73-66) at the Nassau Country Club in Glen Cove, N.Y.
 
Richter and Johnson earned Patriot League Credit Union 1 Co-Women’s Golfers of the Week after tying for third place at the Red Flash Invitational by shooting 6-over par 150 to help the Bison to a first-place team finish. Richter and Johnson each earned weekly honors for the second time this season.
 
Holy Cross junior Alex Elia received honorable mentions for his play last week.
 
Patriot League Men’s Golfers of the Week
Jack Tarzy, Navy, Sr., Medford, N.J./The Hun School of Princeton
*Tarzy tied for first place out of 66 golfers at the Nassau Intercollegiate by shooting a 2-over par 212 (73-73-66) at the par-70 Nassau Country Club in Glen Cove, N.Y.
*The senior has earned medalist honors in three straight tournaments, the most wins for a Navy golfer in a season since Billy Hurley won six during the 2003-04 season.
 
Patriot League Credit Union 1 Co-Women’s Golfers of the Week
Paige Richter, Bucknell, Sr., Camp Hill, Pa./Camp Hill
*Richter tied for third at the Red Flash Invitational by shooting a 6-over par 150 (76-74) at the par-72 Susquehanna Country Club in Johnstown, Pa.
*She helped the Bison to a first-place finish out of 10 teams  
 
Joelle Johnson, Bucknell, Fr., Bowie, Md./Indian Creek School
*Johnson tied for third place at the Red Flash Invitational by shooting 6-over par 150 (75-75) at the par-72 Susquehanna Country Club in Johnstown, Pa.
