Patriot League Announces Men’s and Women’s Golfers of the Week (10.15.25)

Colgate’s Dock and Boston University’s Han receive weekly honors

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Colgate sophomore Brayden Dock received Patriot League Men’s Golfer of the Week, and Boston University junior Amy Han received Credit Union 1 Women’s Golfer of the Week when the League office announced honors on Wednesday.  
 
Dock captured Patriot League Men’s Golfer of the Week honors after earning the medal at the Bucknell Invitational by shooting a 1-under par 209 (72-72-65) at the par-70 Bucknell Golf Club in Lewisburg, Pa.
 
Han earned Patriot League Credit Union 1 Women’s Golfer of the Week for the second time this season after finishing as the runner-up at the UAlbany Great Dane Invitational by shooting a 1-over par 141 (69-72) at the par-70 Normanside Country Club in Delmar, N.Y.
 
Holy Cross senior Kate Hong and freshman Leo Chu, Lehigh senior Yuki Zhu, Loyola Maryland sophomore Eli Spaulding and Navy freshman Hudson Mitchell received honorable mentions for their play last week.
 
Patriot League Men’s Golfers of the Week
Brayden Dock, Colgate, So., Glens Falls, N.Y./Glens Falls
*Dock earned the individual medal at the Bucknell Invitational by shooting a 1-under par 209 (72-72-65) at the par-70 Bucknell Golf Club in Lewisburg, Pa.
*Dock shot a 5-under par 65 in the final round, helping the Raiders finish third out of 19 teams, which included League rivals Bucknell and Holy Cross.
 
Patriot League Credit Union 1 Women’s Golfer of the Week
Amy Han, Boston University, Jr., Dalian, China/King’s College (New Zealand)
*Han finished second by shooting a 1-over par 141 (69-72) at the UAlbany Great Dane Invitational at the par-70 Normanside Country Club in Delmar, N.Y.
*Han led the Terriers to a first-place team finish out of 14 schools, including Patriot League rival Holy Cross.
 
Honorable Mentions
Kate Hong, Holy Cross, Sr., Old Greenwich, Conn./Sacred Heart-Greenwich
*Hong tied for 21st out of 80 competitors by shooting a 17-over par 157 (75-82) to lead the Crusaders at the UAlbany Great Dane Invitational at the par-72 Normanside Country Club.
 
Leo Chu, Holy Cross, Fr., Scarsdale, N.Y./Scarsdale
*Chu finished second at the par-70 Bucknell Invitational by shooting an even-par 210 (68-69-73) to finish one stroke behind the leader. The freshman helped the Crusaders finish fourth out of 19 teams.  
 
Yuki Zhu, Lehigh, Sr., Shanghai, China/Shanghai Pinghe School
*Zhu tied for 14th out of 66 golfers at the Quinnipiac Classic by shooting a 12-over par 156 (83-73) at par-72 The Farms Country Club in Wallingford, Conn. The Mountain Hawks finished tied for fourth out of 11 teams.
 
Eli Spaulding, Loyola Maryland, So., Freeport, Maine/Freeport
*Spaulding tied for 10th out of 55 competitors at the Georgetown Intercollegiate by shooting an 8-over par 150 (75-75) at the par-71 Echo Lake Country Club in Westfield, N.J.
 
Hudson Mitchell, Navy, Fr., Pensacola, Fla./Pensacola Catholic
*Mitchell accounted for two of Navy’s six points in the Mids’ 6-5 win over arch rival Army West Point in the annual Army-Navy Star Match. He was the only Mid to win both his doubles and singles matches.
