BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Loyola Maryland senior Gustavo Rangel and Lehigh senior Yuki Zhu received Patriot League Men’s and Women’s Golfer of the Week, respectively, when the League office announced honors on Wednesday.  
 
Rangel captured Patriot League Men’s Golfer of the Week honors after finishing 10th out of 119 golfers by shooting a 9-under par 207 (71-67-69) at the Loyola Intercollegiate at the par-72 Palm Valley Golf Club in Goodyear, Ariz.
 
Zhu earned Patriot League Women’s Golfers of the Week after tying for eighth by shooting a 3-over par 216 (75-70-71) at the BGSU Women’s Intercollegiate at the par-71 Wigwam Resort Blue Course in Litchfield Park, Ariz.
 
Patriot League Men’s Golfers of the Week
Gustavo Rangel, Loyola Maryland, Sr., Guaynabo, P.R./Colegio Marista de Guaynabo
*Rangel shot a 9-under par 207 (71-67-69) to finish 10th out of 119 golfers at the Loyola Intercollegiate at the par-72 Palm Valley Golf Club in Goodyear, Ariz.
*He helped the Greyhounds finish second out of 20 teams, while his second-round score of 5-under par 67 was the third-best round of the day.
 
Patriot League Women’s Golfers of the Week
Yuki Zhu, Lehigh, Sr., Shanghai, China/Shanghai Pinghe School
*Zhu tied for eighth place out of 84 competitors at the BGSU Women’s Intercollegiate by shooting a 3-over par 216 (75-70-71) at the par-71 Wigwam Resort Club Course in Litchfield Park, Ariz.
*Her score was the third-lowest 54-hole tournament score in program history, while her second-round score of 1-under par 70 was a season-low.
