BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Navy senior Jack Tarzy and junior Emma Tang were named Patriot League Men’s and Women’s Golfers of the Week, respectively, when the League office announced honors on Wednesday.
Tarzy earned Patriot League Men’s Golfer of the Week honors after sharing individual medalist honors at the Golden Horseshoe Intercollegiate by shooting 5-under 208 (68-68-72). He helped the Mids finish third out of 12 teams at the par-72 Golden Horseshoe Golf Club in Williamsburg, Va.
Tang claimed her second Patriot League Women’s Golfer of the Week award of the season after finishing fifth at the Kingsmill Intercollegiate in Williamsburg, Va. by shooting an 8-over par 224 (74-73-77) to finish fifth out of 92 golfers.
Colgate sophomore Brayden Dock, Holy Cross sophomore Sophia Cellura and junior Alex Elia, Lafayette sophomore Reed Theiss and Loyola Maryland graduate student Jackson Roman received honorable mentions for their performances last week.
Patriot League Men’s Golfers of the Week
Jack Tarzy, Navy, Sr., Medford, N.J./The Hun School of Princeton
*Tarzy shared individual medalist honors by shooting a 5-under par 208 (68-68-72) at the Golden Horseshoe Intercollegiate, helping Navy to a third-place finish out of 12 teams.
*The senior recorded his fourth win of the 2025-26 season, the most by a Midshipman golfer since Billy Hurley won six tournaments in 2003-04.
Patriot League Women’s Golfers of the Week
Emma Tang, Navy, Jr., Chino Hills, Calif./Chino Hills
*Tang shot an 8-over 224 (74-73-77) to finish in fifth-place at the Kingsmill Intercollegiate in Williamsburg, Va. at the par-72 Kingsmill Resort.
*She helped the Mids finish second out of 15 teams, as Tang led five Navy golfers inside the top-20.

*Dock shot a 1-under 143 (73-70) to tie for fifth at the Carpetbagger Classic at the par-72 Worthington Manor Golf Club in Urbana, Md. He helped the Raiders to a fifth-place finish out of 14 teams.
Sophia Cellura, Holy Cross, So., Rochester, N.Y./Mercy
*Cellura shot a 28-over 244 (77-83-84) to finish 45th out of 92 golfers at the Kingsmill Intercollegiate at the par-72 Kingsmill Resort in Williamsburg, Va.
Alex Elia, Holy Cross, Jr., Wilton, Conn./Wilton
*Elia tied for fifth at the UC San Diego Invitational at the par-72 Torrey Pines Golf Club in La Jolla, Calif. The junior shot a 6-under par 210 (74-66-70). His second-round 66 tied the lowest round in Holy Cross program history.
Reed Theiss, Lafayette, So., Leesburg, Va./Loudoun County
*Theiss tied for ninth at the Golden Horseshoe Intercollegiate by shooting a 1-over 214 (70-73-71) at the par-72 Golden Horseshoe Golf Club. He helped the Leopards to a seventh-place finish out of 12 teams.
Jackson Roman, Loyola Maryland, Gr., Berlin, Conn./Hamden Hall Country Day
*Roman won the Carpetbagger Classic at the par-72 Worthington Manor Golf Club by carding a 7-under 137 (70-67) through 36 holes. Roman captured his first collegiate win.
