Patriot League Announces Men’s and Women’s Golfers of the Week (3.18.26)

Loyola Maryland’s Spaulding and Bucknell’s Bardunias receive weekly honors

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Loyola Maryland sophomore Eli Spaulding and Bucknell sophomore Sophia Bardunias were named Patriot League Men’s and Women’s Golfers of the Week, respectively, when the League office announced honors on Wednesday.  
 
Spaulding earned Patriot League Men’s Golfer of the Week honors after tying for seventh with an even-par 216 (73-71-72) at the Seminole Intercollegiate at Florida State’s par-72 Seminole Legacy Club in Tallahassee, Fla.
 
Bardunias claimed her third Patriot League Women’s Golfer of the Week award of the season after winning the individual title at the NKU Women’s Spring Fling by shooting a 7-over 223 (75-76-72) at the par-72 Sandridge Country Club in Vero Beach, Fla. She guided Bucknell to its fourth team title of the 2025-26 season.  
 
Lehigh senior Jake Roth, Holy Cross junior Julianna Megan and Navy freshman Angelina Kim received honorable mentions for their performances last week.
 
Patriot League Men’s Golfers of the Week
Eli Spaulding, Loyola Maryland, So., Freeport, Maine/Freeport
*Spaulding tied for seventh at Florida State’s Seminole Intercollegiate by shooting an even-par 216 (73-71-72) at the par-72 Seminole Legacy Golf Club in Tallahassee, Fla.
*He led the field of 112 players with 15 birdies, helping the Greyhounds finish eighth of 21 teams.
 
Patriot League Women’s Golfers of the Week
Sophia Bardunias, Bucknell, So., San Ramon, Calif./Monte Vista
*Bardunias won individual medalist honors at the NKU Women’s Spring Fling by shooting a 7-over 223 (75-76-72) at the par-72 Sandridge Country Club in Vero Beach, Fla.
*She won the individual title by two strokes, leading Bucknell to its fourth team title of the 2025-26 season, as they finished atop the 11-team field by 10 strokes.

*Li won the individual title at the SHU Spring Break Invite by one stroke, carding a 5-over 149 (72-77) at the par-72 Eagle Harbor Golf Club in Fleming Island, Fla.
 
Julianna Megan, Holy Cross, Jr., Hooksett, N.H./Pinkerton Academy
*Megan carded a 21-over 237 (80-80-77) at the NKU Women’s Spring Fling to finish 19th out of 64 players at the par-72 Sandridge Country Club in Vero Beach, Fla.
 
Jake Roth, Lehigh, Sr., Rockville, Md./Bullis School
*Roth tied for 14th out of 85 competitors at the ECU Intercollegiate by shooting a 6-over 222 (74-70-78) at the par-72 Brook Valley Country Club in Greenville, N.C.
 
Angelina Kim, Navy, Fr., Tenafly, N.J./Academy of the Holy Angels
*Kim shot a 15-over (76-78-77) to tie for 27th place out of 79 golfers at the Magnolia Collegiate at the par-72 RTJ Golf Trail at Magnolia Grove in Mobile, Ala.
