BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Navy senior Chip Deegan and Bucknell junior Nicole Yun were named Patriot League Men’s and Women’s Golfers of the Week, respectively, when the League office announced honors on Wednesday.  
 
Deegan captured Patriot League Men’s Golfer of the Week honors for the second time this season after finishing fourth at the Cleveland Golf Palmetto Intercollegiate, carding a 4-under 206 (66-68-72).  
 
Yun shot a 1-over 71 at the par-70 Grand Harbor and Beach Club in Vero Beach, Fla., to win her match-play round against Northern Kentucky, seven up.
 
Lehigh sophomore Alana Hall earned an honorable mention for her performance last week.
 
Patriot League Men’s Golfers of the Week
Chip Deegan, Navy, Sr., Newport Beach, Calif./Servite
*Deegan finished fourth out of 75 golfers at the par-70 Cleveland Golf Palmetto Intercollegiate by shooting a 4-under 206 (66-68-72) at Palmetto Golf Club in Aiken, S.C.
*The Newport Beach native shot a 4-under 66, featuring an eagle on the 14th hole, in Monday’s first round. He closed out the day with a 2-under 68 second round.
 
Patriot League Women’s Golfers of the Week
Nicole Yun, Bucknell, Jr., Limerick, Pa./Spring-Ford
*Yun shot a 1-over 71, defeating her opponent seven up, to help Bucknell defeat Northern Kentucky, 5.5-1.5 at the Battle at Vero at the par-70 Grand Harbor and Beach Club.  
*Yun did not lose a hole, taking a five-up lead on the front nine while posting birdies on the first two holes.  
 
HONORABLE MENTIONS
Alana Hall, Lehigh, So., Boca Raton, Fla./Saint Andrews
*Hall shot a 15-over 228 (72-76-80) to finish tied for 35th out of 90 competitors at the Morehead State SoCal Spring Invitational at the par-71 Sterling Hills Golf Club in Camarillo, Calif. Her first-round score of 1-over 72 tied her for first place after 18 holes.
