BETHLEHEM, Pa. — Lehigh and Bucknell each earned two of the five Patriot League Men’s Soccer weekly honors presented by PenFed Credit Union when the League office announced its awards on Monday, while Army West Point collected one.
 
Lehigh junior forward Thomas Robertson was named Patriot League Men’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week after recording four points to help the Mountain Hawks earn a postseason berth.
 
Lehigh junior midfielder Trey Sheeler earned Patriot League Men’s Soccer Midfielder of the Week recognition after scoring the game-winner against Boston University, leading the Mountain Hawks to a League victory that clinched a postseason berth.
 
Bucknell sophomore defender Collin Sullivan received Patriot League Men’s Soccer Defensive Player of the Week honors, scoring his first career goal while leading the Bison defense to two shutouts.
 
Bucknell senior goalkeeper Freddie Lapworth collected Patriot League Men’s Soccer Goalkeeper of the Week after helping the Bison post back-to-back shutouts and collecting 10 saves.
 
Army West Point freshman forward Jack De Simone was named Patriot League Men’s Soccer Rookie of the Week after scoring the match-winning goal in the Black Knights’ road win at Lafayette.
 
Loyola Maryland sophomore forward Tyler Flynn and graduate midfielder Richie Nichols, Army West Point junior midfielder Justin Davidyock, freshman defender Nicholas Berardi, and sophomore goalkeeper Michael Guiry, along with Navy freshman midfielder Nick Gallucci, all received honorable mentions.
 
The Patriot League men’s soccer players of the week are chosen in a vote by League head coaches, who are not eligible to vote for their own student-athletes.

Collin Sullivan, Bucknell, So., D, La Grange Park, Ill./Lyons Township
*Sullivan scored the first goal of his career and the match-winner in Bucknell’s 2–0 victory over Saint Joseph’s.
*The sophomore helped the Bison post two shutouts on the week, including a 0–0 draw against League-leading American.


Patriot League Men’s Soccer Goalkeeper of the Week
Freddie Lapworth, Bucknell, Sr., GK, Banbury, England/Banbury
*Lapworth recorded six saves in a 0–0 draw against League-leading American to earn his fifth clean sheet of the season.
*The goalkeeper made multiple timely stops, including a breakaway one-on-one save in the second half to preserve the shutout.
 
Patriot League Men’s Soccer Rookie of the Week
Jack De Simone, Army West Point, Fr., F, Sedalia, Colo./Regis Jesuit
*De Simone scored the game-winning goal in the 56th minute of Army West Point’s 2-0 road victory at Lafayette, marking his third goal of the season.
*The freshman logged a career-high 82 minutes and now ranks second on the team in goals, with scores in back-to-back matches.

Flynn scored the game-tying goal in the 89th minute of Loyola Maryland’s 1–1 draw with Navy and placed both of his shots on goal to help the Greyhounds stay in the playoff race.

Nichols assisted on the 89th-minute equalizer and led Loyola Maryland with six shots in the 1–1 draw against Navy.

Berardi recorded his fourth assist of the season in Army’s 2–0 win at Lafayette and has now registered an assist in three straight matches.

Davidyock scored his first career goal in the 80th minute to seal Army’s 2–0 victory at Lafayette, while also leading the Black Knights’ defense in 62 minutes of action.

Guiry made two saves to post his fifth shutout of the season and improve to 5–2–4 in Army’s 2–0 road win over Lafayette. He owns a 1.00 goals-against average and an .804 save percentage this season.
 
Nick Gallucci, Navy, Fr., M, Hoboken, N.J./Saint Peter’s Prep
Gallucci scored his second goal in three matches to help Navy secure a draw at Loyola Maryland. The freshman also logged 71 minutes in a midweek draw against Longwood, becoming the first Navy rookie with multiple goals in a season since 2023.
