BETHLEHEM, Pa.– The Army West Point women’s tennis team earned the top seed in the 2025 Patriot League Women’s Tennis Championship as the official schedule and seedings were announced by the League office on Tuesday.
The 2025 Patriot League Women’s Tennis Championship will be held at Colgate's J.W. Abrahamson Tennis Courts in Hamilton, N.Y. beginning Thursday, April, 24 and concluding on Sunday, April, 27. In case of inclement weather, the championship will be moved indoors to Drumlins Country Club in Syracuse, N.Y.
The tournament starts on Thursday afternoon with a first-round matchup of No. 8 Lafayette and No. 9 Holy Cross starting at 3 p.m.
The quarterfinals start on Friday with matches beginning at 9 a.m. Top-seeded Army West Point will take on the winner of No.8 Lafayette and No. 9 Holy Cross. No. 4 Lehigh will take on No. 5 Bucknell at 10:45 a.m., with No. 3 Navy set to battle No. 6 Loyola Maryland at 1:15 p.m. To finish off the quarterfinal day, No. 2 Boston University will play No. 7 Loyola Maryland at 3:45 p.m.
Semifinal matches will be held at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 26 with the Championship match schedule for Sunday, April 27 at noon.
