Patriot League Announces Men’s and Women’s Golfers of the Week (9.11.25)

Lehigh’s Zyung and Bucknell’s Vice collect first weekly honors of the 2025-26 season

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Lehigh sophomore Noah Zyung and Bucknell junior Katherine Vice captured Patriot League Men’s and Credit Union 1 Women’s Golfer of the Week, when the League office announced the first set of honors for the 2025-26 season.
 
Zyung was selected Patriot League Men’s Golfer of the Week after earning medalist honors at Colgate University’s Alex Lagowitz Memorial at the par-72 Seven Oaks Golf Club. He shot a 9-under par 207 (68-73-66), helping lead the Mountain Hawks to the team title.
 
Vice received Patriot League Credit Union 1 Women’s Golfer of the Week after winning a two-hole playoff to claim the individual medal at the Bucknell Invitational at the par-70 Bucknell Golf Club. She shot a 10-over par 220 (72-77-71) to help the Bison win the team title.  
 
Bucknell sophomore Jack Hartman, Colgate sophomore Jamison Bryant, Lehigh sophomore Reese Hannon, Loyola Maryland freshman Liam Moloney and Navy junior Emma Tang received honorable mentions for their play during the first weeks of the 2025-26 season.
 
Patriot League Men’s Golfer of the Week
Noah Zyung, Lehigh, So., Glenview, Ill./New Trier Township
*Zyung shot a 9-under par 207 (68-73-66) to claim individual medalist honors at the Alex Lagowitz Memorial, hosted by Colgate at the par-72 Seven Oaks Golf Club.
*He carded 14 birdies and an eagle through 54 holes to help Lehigh top the 14-team field, finishing at 8-under par 856 as a team, seven strokes in front of second-place Seton Hall.
 
Patriot League Credit Union 1 Women’s Golfer of the Week
Katherine Vice, Bucknell, Jr., Glenn Head, N.Y./IMG Academy (Fla.)
*Vice won a two-hole playoff to capture the individual medal after shooting a 10-over par 220 (72-77-71) at the Bucknell Fall Invitational at the par-70 Bucknell Golf Club.
*She shot a 1-over par 71 in the final round, including an eagle on the 15th hole and a birdie on the 18th, helping the Bison claim the team championship out of 19 squads.
 
Honorable Mentions
Jack Hartman, Bucknell, So., Bethesda, Md./Gonzaga College (D.C.)
*Hartman shot a 2-under par 214 (71-71-72) to finish third at the Alex Lagowitz Memorial at the par-72 Seven Oaks Golf Club. He was one of four players in the 92-player field to shoot under par.
 
Jamison Bryant, Colgate, So., Milton, Ga./Cambridge
*Bryant finished fifth out of 92 competitors by shooting an even-par 216 (71-72-73) at the Alex Lagowitz Memorial at the par-72 Seven Oaks Golf Club.
 
Reese Hannon, Lehigh, So., Tewksbury, N.J./Mount Saint Mary
*Hannon shot a 5-over par 221 (71-73-77) to tie for 18th out of 81 players at the par-72 Boilermaker Classic at the Birck Boilermaker Golf Complex in West Lafayette, Ind. Her total of 221 matched the third-lowest 54-hole tournament score in program history.
 
Liam Moloney, Loyola Maryland, Fr., Chester, N.Y./St. Joseph Regional
*Moloney finished tied for eighth at the Rod Myers Invitational by shooting a 4-under par 212 (72-65-75) at the par-72, 7,114-yard Duke University Golf Club. The Greyhounds finished fourth out of 10 teams.
 
Emma Tang, Navy, Jr., Chino Hills, Calif./Chino Hills
*Tang shot an 8-over par 224 (72-74-78) to finish tied for 16th at the Folds of Honor Collegiate at the par-72 American Dunes Golf Club in Grand Haven, Mich. She helped the Mids finish 10th in a field that included seven teams that finished last season ranked in the top 25.
