Patriot League Women’s Lacrosse Players of the Week Announced (2.16.26)

Navy’s Miles and Giglio, Army’s Duffy, Holy Cross’ Levy-Smith and Loyola Maryland’s Murphy earn weekly honors

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Navy earned two of the five Patriot League women’s lacrosse weekly awards when the League announced honors on Monday. Army West Point, Holy Cross and Loyola Maryland each claimed one accolade.
 
Navy sophomore Taylor Miles claimed her first Patriot League Women’s Lacrosse Attacker of the Week, posting nine points on three goals and six assists in an 18-5 win against Villanova. The Mids’ junior Felicia Giglio was selected as Patriot League Women’s Lacrosse Goalkeeper of the Week for the fifth time in her career. She posted a .615 save percentage with eight saves in the win against the Wildcats.
 
Army West Point senior Brigid Duffy claimed Patriot League Women’s Lacrosse Midfielder of the Week for the 12th time after helping the Black Knights to a 1-1 week. She totaled nine points on six goals and three assists to go along with six draw controls, five ground balls and four caused turnovers in two games.
 
Holy Cross senior Racheli Levy-Smith collected Patriot League Women’s Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week honors for the third time. She recorded 22 draw controls, eight caused turnovers and five ground balls in the Crusaders’ 1-1 week.
 
Loyola Maryland freshman defender Mae Murphy received Patriot League Women’s Lacrosse Rookie of the Week honors after totaling 29 draw controls in two games to help the Greyhounds go 1-1 last week.  Her 17 draw controls in the Greyhounds’ 21-11 win against Lehigh is the highest single-game total in the Patriot League this season.
 
American junior defender Samantha Buonaccorsi; Army West Point junior defender Ellia Nawa and senior attack Allison Reilly; Bucknell senior attack Megan Krestinski; Colgate junior defender Meghan Holland, senior attack Caroline Panzirer and sophomore goalkeeper Maddie Stevens; Holy Cross junior midfielder Annabel Brennan; Lafayette senior goalkeeper Kennedy Carr; and Loyola Maryland senior attack Ava Kane and sophomore midfielder Mim Suares-Jury received honorable mentions for their performances last week.
 
The Patriot League women’s lacrosse players of the week are selected in a vote by League head coaches, who are not eligible to vote for their student-athletes.

PATRIOT LEAGUE WOMEN’S LACROSSE ATTACKER OF THE WEEK
Taylor Miles, Navy, So., Attack, Glen Arm, Md./Notre Dame Prep
*Miles recorded a career-high nine points on three goals and six assists in Navy’s 18-5 home-opening win against Villanova.
*Her nine-point performance is the fourth-most in program history, while her six assists are fifth-most, becoming the first Navy player to record nine or more points in a single game since 2023.
*She added two ground balls and one caused turnover against the Wildcats, who were receiving votes in last week’s polls.  
 
PATRIOT LEAGUE WOMEN’S LACROSSE MIDFIELDER OF THE WEEK
Brigid Duffy, Army West Point, Sr., Midfielder, Queensbury, N.Y./Queensbury
*Duffy totaled nine points on six goals and three assists, while adding six draw controls, five ground balls and four caused turnovers in Army West Point’s 1-1 week.
*She totaled seven points on four goals and three assists, and contributed three draw controls, three ground balls and three caused turnovers in a 23-7 victory over Marist.
*The senior midfielder scored two goals to go along with three draw controls, two ground balls and one caused turnover in a loss at No. 2 Northwestern.
 
PATRIOT LEAGUE WOMEN’S LACROSSE DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Racheli Levy-Smith, Holy Cross, Sr., Defender, Margate, N.J./Ocean City
*Levy-Smith posted 22 draw controls, eight caused turnovers and five ground balls to help Holy Cross go 1-1 last week.
*The senior defender recorded a season-high 16 draw controls, four caused turnovers and three ground balls in the Crusaders’ 18-8 win over Stonehill.
*She posted six draw controls, four caused turnovers and two ground balls against Albany.
 
PATRIOT LEAGUE WOMEN’S LACROSSE GOALKEEPER OF THE WEEK
Felicia Giglio, Navy, Jr., Goalkeeper, Bayport, N.Y./Bayport Blue-Point
*Giglio posted a .615 save percentage with eight saves in Navy’s 18-5 victory over Villanova in 55:36 of action.  
*The junior goalkeeper held the Wildcats scoreless in the second quarter before making six saves in the second half, holding Villanova to just two second-half goals.
*She eclipsed 250 career saves, making her the fourth player in program history to reach the milestone.
 
PATRIOT LEAGUE WOMEN’S LACROSSE ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Mae Murphy, Loyola Maryland, Fr., Defender, Moorestown, N.J./Moorestown
*Murphy broke Loyola Maryland’s single-game draw control record in both games during the Greyhounds’ 1-1 week.
*She posted 12 draw controls in a loss against No. 8 Johns Hopkins.
*The freshman defender tallied 17 draw controls in a 21-11 victory against Lehigh and ranks first in NCAA DI with 14.5 draw controls per game.

*Buonaccorsi caused five turnovers and picked up three ground balls to lead the Eagles’ defense in a loss against Temple.
 
Ellia Nawa, Army West Point, Jr., Defender, Fishers, Ind./Hamilton Southeastern
*Nawa finished with 19 draw controls in two games to help the Black Knights go 1-1 last week. She broke Army West Point’s single-game record with 16 draw controls in a 23-7 win against Marist. She had three draw controls in a loss at No. 2 Northwestern.
 
Allison Reilly, Army West Point, Sr., Attack, Sayville, N.Y./Sayville
*Reilly posted 16 points on six goals and 10 assists to help the Black Knights go 1-1 last week. The senior attack posted 12 points in a 23-7 win against Marist with five goals and seven assists. She recorded one goal, three assists, two ground balls and one caused turnover in a loss against No. 2 Northwestern.
 
Megan Krestinski, Bucknell, Sr., Attack, Bronxville, N.Y./Bronxville
*Krestinski finished with 13 points on nine goals and four assists in two games last week. The senior attack recorded a 10-point performance with seven goals and three assists in an 18-10 win over UMBC. She posted two goals, one assist and four draw controls in a loss against Penn State.
 
Meghan Holland, Colgate, Jr., Defender, Charlotte, N.C./Deerfield Academy
*Holland picked up three ground balls and caused two turnovers in the Raiders’ 16-10 victory over Niagara. She was part of a defense that held Niagara to five goals through the first three quarters.
 
Caroline Panzirer, Colgate, Sr., Attack, Katonah, N.Y./John Jay
*Panzirer tallied seven points on four goals and three assists in Colgate’s 16-10 victory over Niagara. The senior attacker reached 100 career goals.
 
Maddie Stevens, Colgate, So., Goalkeeper, Jacksonville Beach, Fla./Bartram Trail
*Stevens recorded a .565 save percentage in the Raiders’ 16-10 victory over Niagara. She recorded a career-high 13 saves and picked up one ground ball.
 
Annabel Brennan, Holy Cross, Jr., Midfielder, Katonah, N.Y./John Jay
*Brennan totaled seven points, four draw controls, four ground balls and three caused turnovers in two games to help the Crusaders go 1-1. She recorded a career-high five points on four goals and one assist in an 18-8 win against Stonehill.
 
Kennedy Carr, Lafayette, Sr., Goalkeeper, Fairfield, Conn./Fairfield Ludlowe
*In her first collegiate start, Carr posted a .522 save percentage with 12 saves in Lafayette’s 17-11 season-opening win against Merrimack. She also picked up two ground balls in the win.

*Kane posted seven points in two games to help Loyola Maryland to a 1-1 week. The senior attack tallied three goals and two assists in the Greyhounds’ 21-11 victory over Lehigh. She also had two goals in a loss against No. 8 Johns Hopkins.
 
Mim Suares-Jury, Loyola Maryland, So., Midfielder, Melbourne, Australia/Williamstown
*Suares-Jury scored five goals, dished out two assists and had five draw controls during the Greyhounds’ two-game week. The sophomore midfielder posted two goals, one assist and one caused turnover in a loss against No. 8 Johns Hopkins. She recorded a hat trick to go along with one assist and five draw controls in a 21-11 win at Lehigh to open League play.
