Patriot League Women’s Lacrosse Notebook (3.13.26)

Saturday features a full slate of Patriot League women’s lacrosse games on ESPN+

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Saturday features a full slate of Patriot League games on ESPN+, highlighted by a matchup of ranked League rivals, when No. 23 Army West Point hosts No. 16 Loyola Maryland at noon, looking to snap the Greyhounds’ 94-game regular-season League winning streak.
 
Three more games start at noon, with No. 5 Navy hosting Bucknell to open its League slate. Lehigh welcomes Holy Cross and Colgate travels to American. Boston University hosts Lafayette to conclude the day’s action, with live coverage beginning at 3:30 p.m.

Patriot League Women’s Lacrosse In the Polls; Navy Remains Ranked Highest in Program History
Inside Lacrosse KANE Women’s DI Media Poll
Reigning Patriot League Champion Navy remained No. 5 in this week’s Inside Lacrosse KANE Women’s DI Media Poll. The Mids improved to 7-0 with a win over Jacksonville on Tuesday. Navy was No. 4 in the 2017 season-ending ILWomen poll. Loyola Maryland checked in at No. 16 after defeating No. 24 Georgetown, 9-8, last week. Army West Point is No. 24 after winning its League opener against Boston University (15-11).   
 
Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Coaches Poll
The Mids also remained No. 5 in the IWLCA Top 25 Coaches Poll. Loyola Maryland is No. 17, with Army West Point slipping one spot to No. 24.  
 
USA Lacrosse DI Women’s Top 20 Poll
Navy was selected No. 5 in the USA Lacrosse DI Women’s Top 20, earning the fifth spot in all three polls for the second straight week. Loyola Maryland moved up four spots to No. 16.

Army West Point’s Reilly and Bucknell’s Krestinski Rank Among NCAA DI Points Leaders
Army West Point’s Allison Reilly is second in NCAA DI with 6.71 points per game, while Bucknell’s Megan Krestinski is seventh (5.67).  Reilly posted a Patriot League season-high 12-point performance in the Black Knights’ win over Marist on Feb. 10 and followed it up with a 10-point game against Florida State. Krestinski’s 10-point performance against UMBC on Feb. 13 is tied for the second-highest single-game total in the League this season. Bucknell freshman Caleigh Cummiskey is 12th in NCAA DI, averaging 5.3 points per game.
 
Holy Cross’ Levy-Smith Among National Leaders in Caused Turnovers
Holy Cross senior defender Racheli Levy-Smith, a four-time Patriot League Defensive Player of the Week, is 10th in NCAA DI, averaging 2.8 draw controls per game. Levy-Smith has posted 19 caused turnovers in seven games this season, giving her 64 during her career to rank 28th among NCAA DI active leaders.
 
Bucknell’s Duo Among the League Goals Leaders, Leading the Bison to a League-Best Mark
Bucknell freshman Caleigh Cummiskey leads the Patriot League in goals per game (3.83), with Krestinski (3.33) ranking third in the Patriot League. The Bison attackers are 10th and 22nd in NCAA DI in goals per game, helping lead Bucknell to the ninth-best scoring offense (15.67 goals per game) in NCAA DI. Navy sophomore Alyssa Chung is second in the League, averaging 3.4 goals per game, helping the Midshipmen rank 13th in the nation in scoring offense (15.0 gpg).  
 
Loyola Maryland’s Murphy Among the Nation’s Draw Control Leaders
Loyola Maryland freshman Mae Murphy has made an immediate impact during her first collegiate campaign. In seven games, the three-time Patriot League Rookie of the Week ranks fourth in NCAA DI with 12.1 draw controls per game. Her 88 draws through seven games have her on pace to join impressive former Patriot League rookies in topping 100 draw controls, joining Navy’s Reagan Roelofs, who posted 146 in 2019 and Loren Generi, who finished with 118 in 2012. 
 
Army’s Reilly Second in NCAA DI in Assists; First Among Active Career Leaders
Army West Point’s Allison Reilly set a Black Knights’ single-game program record with eight assists in a 13-7 win against Florida State. Reilly leads NCAA DI active leaders and is tied with Holy Cross’ Isabela Miller for ninth in Patriot League history with 128 career assists. Reilly is second in NCAA DI this season, averaging 4.1 assists per game this season in seven games.

Several active Patriot League women’s lacrosse student-athletes rank among the Patriot League’s career leaders entering the 2026 season.

Army’s Duffy is 11th in League history and second among all active NCAA Division I players with 296 points, while Reilly is 14th in the League and third among active players with 288 points. Duffy and Reilly are closing in on becoming the 11th and 12th student-athletes in Patriot League history to reach 300 career points.

100 GOALS CLUB
Duffy became the 14th player in Patriot League history to surpass 200 goals, with her six-goal performance in a win over Boston University on March 7. She is tied for 10th in Patriot League history with Lehigh’s Sondra Dickey, with 205 goals. Her teammate Reilly is 29th in League history and eighth among active goal scorers. American’s Reagan Murdoch reached 100 career goals with a six-goal performance in a loss to George Mason on Feb. 27, and ranks 89th in League history and 41st among active scorers. Colgate’s Caroline Panzirer eclipsed 100 career goals with a four-goal performance in the Raiders’ 16-10 win over Niagara on Feb. 14. She is 47th among active scorers and 92 in League history.

Lafayette’s Katie Marrs eclipsed 200 career draw controls to become the third active Patriot League player to reach the milestone. Marrs is 22nd in Patriot League history and 22nd among NCAA DI active leaders. Holy Cross’ Racheli Levy-Smith became the 10th player in Patriot League history to eclipse 300 career draw controls, with Army’s Duffy following to become the 11th. Levy-Smith and Duffy are seventh and 10th among NCAA DI active leaders, respectively.

Navy’s Yovino Named IWLCA National Offensive Player of the Week for the Second Time
Navy’s Ava Yovino (Sr. M) was named the Division I National Offensive Player of the Week by the International Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) for the second time this season, after recording three goals, three assists, seven draw controls, three caused turnovers and one ground ball in the Mids’ 14-11 upset win over No.  7 Florida on Feb. 28. The senior midfielder previously earned national offensive player of the week honors after posting six points on two goals and four assists to go with seven draw controls, three ground balls and two caused turnovers in the Mids’ upset victory over then-No. 10 Virginia.

Two Patriot League Student-Athletes Added to Tewaaraton 2026 Watch List
Navy senior midfielder Ava Yovino and Loyola Maryland freshman draw specialist Mae Murphy have been added to the Tewaaraton Award Watch List, which was announced on March 5. Four Patriot League women’s lacrosse student-athletes were named to the initial 2026 Tewaaraton Award Watch List before the start of the season, including Army West Point’s Brigid Duffy (Sr. M) and Allison Reilly (Sr. A) and Navy’s Alyssa Chung (So. A) and Mikayla Williams (Jr. M)

Duffy Recognized as USA Lacrosse Magazine Division I Women’s Lacrosse Midfielder of the Year
Army West Point’s Duffy was selected as the Preseason Midfielder of the Year after breaking the Black Knights’ single-season records for goals (64), ground balls (47) and caused turnovers (32). The three-time All-American is among the Patriot League’s career leaders in points (262), goals (182) and draw controls (283).

Army’s Duffy and Reilly, Navy’s Chung Earn Nike Lacrosse Media All-America Honors
Three Patriot League women’s lacrosse student-athletes were selected to one of the three Nike Lacrosse Media All-America Teams when it was announced by Inside Lacrosse. Three-time All-America honoree Brigid Duffy (Army, Sr., M) earned a spot on the Media All-America Second Team, along with reigning Patriot League Rookie of the Year Alyssa Chung (Navy, So., A). Allison Reilly (Army, Sr. A) earned third-team honors.
 
Four Receive USA Lacrosse Magazine Preseason All-America Honors
Army West Point’s Brigid Duffy earned Preseason All-America First Team honors from USA Lacrosse Magazine when it was announced. Army West Point’s Allison Reilly and Navy’s Mikayla Williams (Jr., M). Navy’s Alyssa Chung earned Honorable Mention All-America recognition.
 
Army’s Duffy Named to US Lacrosse Women’s National Field Team

Army West Point Women's Lacrosse senior Brigid Duffy has been named to the U.S. Women's National Team as announced by USA Lacrosse on Thursday, Jan. 15. Duffy is the first Black Knight to make the National Field Team.
 
The Queensbury, N.Y., native will represent the United States of America this upcoming summer at the 2026 U.S. Women's World Lacrosse Championships, which are set to be held from July 24 to August 2 in Tokyo, Japan. Duffy will be one of nine current collegiate players on the roster and the only player from the Patriot League. This will mark her second national tournament after she has already represented Team USA on the national stage in 2024 on the U.S. U20 team alongside fellow senior Allison Reilly and was coached by Noto Family Head Women's Lacrosse Coach Michelle Tumolo.

Three Patriot League women’s lacrosse student-athletes were selected among the Inside Lacrosse Top 50 Women’s NCAA Lacrosse Players for 2026, including Army West Point’s Brigid Duffy and Allison Reilly and Navy’s Alyssa Chung.

Patriot Women’s Lacrosse on CBS Sports Network
Four Patriot League women’s lacrosse games will be featured on CBS Sports Network in 2026. Coverage continues with the regular-season rematch of the 2025 Patriot League Women’s Lacrosse Championship Game featuring Navy at Loyola Maryland, scheduled for Saturday, March 28 (11 a.m.). The Mids will host rival Army West Point on Saturday, April 11, at noon. The 2026 Patriot League Women’s Lacrosse Championship Game will be aired on Saturday, May 2, with live coverage beginning at 3:30 p.m. on CBS Sports Network.
