BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Boston University’s Second Varsity Eight+ received Patriot League Boat of the Week honors, when the League office announced the award on Tuesday.

Boston University’s Second Varsity 8+
Regatta: Boston University vs. Columbia & No. 9 Brown – Overpeck Park, Leonia, N.J. / 2,000 meters
*Boston University’s Second Varsity 8+ boat recorded a runner-up finish at Overpeck Park as the Terriers clocked a time of 6:31.51 to finish ahead of Columbia (6:38.51) and 10 seconds behind No. 9 Brown (6:21.25).

*Bucknell’s First Varsity 8+ boat finished third out of 40 Varsity Eight boats at the 27th Knecht Cup as the Bison clocked a time of 6:55.07 in the final race.
Colgate Second Varsity 4+
Regatta: Knecht Cup – Cooper River, Pennsauken, N.J. / 2,000 meters
*Colgate’s Second Varsity Four+ earned first place and a spot in the final with a time of 8:18.10 as the crew faced UMass, Temple, Drexel, Bryant and Wisconsin.
Georgetown Second Varsity 8+
Regatta: GW Invitational – Potomac River, Washington, D.C. / 2,000 meters
*Georgetown’s Second Varsity 8+ captured the title at the GW Invitational as the Hoyas clocked a time of 6:34.15 to defeat Duquesne by nearly 20 seconds.
Lehigh First Varsity 4+
Regatta: Knecht Cup – Cooper River, Pennsauken, N.J. / 2,000 meters
*Lehigh’s First Varsity 4+ boat finished first in Sunday’s final, clocking a winning-time of 8:36.77.

PATRIOT LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIP
The 2026 Patriot League Women’s Rowing Championship will be held on Cooper River in Pennsauken, N.J., on Friday, May 15. Patriot League members Boston University, Bucknell, Colgate, Georgetown, Holy Cross, Lehigh, Loyola Maryland, MIT and Navy will compete in the full-field championship, which features Varsity Eight, Second Varsity Eight, Varsity Four and Second Varsity Four races. The winning team receives the Patriot League's automatic berth to the NCAA Championship. Boston University is the defending Patriot League champion.
