BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Army West Point received two of the four Patriot League M-F Athletic Cross Country weekly awards, when the League office announced the honors on Tuesday. Boston University and Holy Cross each collected a remaining honor.

Patriot League M-F Athletic Men’s Cross Country Runner of the Week
Joseph Mahon, Holy Cross, Sr., Woburn, Mass./Woburn Memorial
*Mahon collected his second weekly award of the season after winning the 8K race at the UMass Dartmouth Invitational with a time of 24:09.69.
*The senior crossed the line 22 seconds ahead of the runner-up finisher and helped Holy Cross to a third-place team finish with 126 total points.

Patriot League M-F Athletic Women’s Cross Country Runner of the Week
Mikayla Cheney, Army West Point, Sr., New Castle, Colo./Coal Ridge
*Cheney claimed the individual title at the Jasper Fall Invitational, winning the 6K race in 21:10.54.
*The senior’s victory helped Army West Point to a 42-point team title over a 12-team field that included Quinnipiac, Marist, Rider and Temple.

Patriot League M-F Athletic Men’s Rookie of the Week
Issaiah McCorvey, Army West Point, Fr., Lancaster, Ca./Lancaster
*McCorvey recorded a fourth-place finish at the Jasper Fall Invitational with a time of 25:00.12.
*The freshman was a part of the Black Knights’ unit that took the top five spots outright in a 12-team, 140-plus runner field.

Patriot League M-F Athletic Women’s Rookie of the Week
Jessica Abbott, Boston University, Fr., Manalapan, N.J./Manalapan
*Abbott earned a 15th-place finish at the UMass Dartmouth Invitational with a 6K time of 21:25.4.
*The freshman helped Boston University capture their second straight team title at the meet as the Terriers boasted five scorers in the top 25 to finish with 63 points.

Honorable mentions went to Army West Point’s Alexandra Himebauch and Ryan Rheam, Boston University’s Samantha Seabury, Holy Cross’ Aluna Coogan-Coyne, and Navy’s Brianne Duynstee, Juliet Frum, Dane Eike and Dom Pappagallo.
