BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Bucknell, Holy Cross, Lehigh and Navy split the Patriot League M-F Athletic Cross Country weekly awards, when the League office announced the first set of honors on Tuesday.
Patriot League M-F Athletic Men’s Cross Country Runner of the Week
Joseph Mahon, Holy Cross, Sr., Woburn, Mass./Woburn Memorial
*Mahon won the 2026 Ken O’Brien Invitational after crossing the line in 18:38.1 at UMass Amherst.
*The senior took first place by more than 10 seconds in Holy Cross’ season opener as the Crusaders finished third as a team.
Patriot League M-F Athletic Women’s Cross Country Runner of the Week
Kailey Granger, Bucknell, Sr., Dallastown, Pa./Dallastown
*Granger, the Bison team caption, captured first place at the Bucknell-Lafayette Dual as the senior clocked a winning time of 13:59.20 in the 4K race.
*The Dallastown, Pa. native helped the Bison to their first dual win since 2011 with a 21-40 victory over the Leopards.
Patriot League M-F Athletic Men’s Rookie of the Week
Jason Baker, Lehigh, Fy., Lewes, Del./Cape Henlopen
*Baker finished fourth overall with a time of 18:36.3 at the Lehigh Invitational in his first collegiate 6K race.
*The first-year led the Mountain Hawks to a third-place team finish competing against Rutgers, Saint Joseph's, Moravian, Kutztown, Rowan, DeSales, Muhlenberg, and Ramapo.
Patriot League M-F Athletic Women’s Rookie of the Week
Brianne Duynstee, Navy, Fr., Encinitas, Calif./La Costa Canyon
*In her first collegiate 6K race, Duynstee crossed the line in 21:04.2 to win the Salisbury Fall Classic at Winter Place Park.
*The Encinitas, Calif. native led Navy to a first-place finish as the Mids posted a team-low 21 points.
