Five Patriot League Soccer Student-Athletes Named to CoSIDA Academic All-District (11.11.21)

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Five Patriot League soccer student-athletes, including three males and two females, were selected as CoSIDA Academic All-District honorees when teams were announced on Thursday.
 
Loyola Maryland junior goalkeeper Paige Sim and Navy sophomore defender Chloe Dawson earned spots on the District II team.

On the men’s side, Bucknell senior midfielder Patrick O’Hara, Lehigh junior defender Euan Forrest and Navy senior defender Matt Nocita also received District II laurels.

Patrick O’Hara, Bucknell, Sr., M, South Hero, Vt./South Burlington
* O’Hara is studying biology and holds a 3.97 cumulative grade-point average (GPA).
* The senior is a two-time Academic All-Patriot League selection and a three-time CoSIDA Academic All-District honoree.
* O’Hara serves as a peer tutor in biology and chemistry and is a member of Bucknell’s social justice committee.

Euan Forrest, Lehigh, Jr., D, Douglassville, Pa./The Hill School
* Forrest has a 3.95 cumulative GPA as a behavioral neuroscience major at Lehigh.
* The junior is a four-time Dean’s List member and a four-time Faculty Athletics Council Award recipient at Lehigh.
* Forrest is now a three-time Academic All-Patriot League team honoree.
 
Paige Sim, Loyola Maryland, Jr., GK, Phoenix, Ariz./Desert Vista
* Sim is studying biochemistry with a minor in business administration, and holds a 3.94 cumulative GPA at Loyola.
* The junior was named to the Academic All-Patriot League team in the Spring of 2021.

Chloe Dawson, Navy, So., D, Fairfax, Va./W.T. Woodson
* Dawson is working toward a degree in robotics and control engineering, and has a 4.00 cumulative GPA.
* The sophomore ranks sixth in Naval Academy’s Class of 2024 in Overall Order of Merit and 21st in Military Order of Merit.
* She has also been named to the USNA’s Commandant’s List in each of her first two semesters.

Matt Nocita, Navy, Sr., DPorter Ranch, Calif./Oaks Christian
* Nocita, a history major and a three-time Patriot League Men’s Soccer Defensive Player of the Year, has garnered a 3.58 cumulative GPA.
* Nocita carries a Military Order of Merit ranking of 43 of 1,131 Midshipmen in his class.
* The senior defender has also been named to the Naval Academy Superintendent’s List three times, Commandant’s List four times and Dean’s List twice.
