Patriot League Men’s Soccer Players of the Week Announced presented by PenFed Credit Union (10.13.25)

Army West Point claims four weekly awards, while Boston University earns one

BETHLEHEM, Pa. — Army West Point earned four of the five Patriot League Men’s Soccer weekly honors presented by PenFed Credit Union when the League announced on Monday, while Boston University received one.
 
Army West Point junior forward Jubril Bamgbala was named Patriot League Men’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week after scoring two goals in 53 seconds to lead the Black Knights to a 4-0 victory over Navy in the Army-Navy Cup.
 
Army West Point senior midfielder Jack Meyer earned Patriot League Men’s Soccer Midfielder of the Week honors after recording two assists, including one on the game-winning goal, in the 4-0 win over Navy.
 
Army West Point junior defender Owen Ennis received Patriot League Men’s Soccer Defensive Player of the Week recognition after helping the Black Knights limit Navy to one shot on goal while adding an assist in the shutout victory.
 
Army West Point sophomore goalkeeper Michael Guiry collected Patriot League Men’s Soccer Goalkeeper of the Week honors after posting his fifth shutout of the season with one save.
 
Boston University freshman defender Austin Mobray was named Patriot League Men’s Soccer Rookie of the Week after assisting on the game-winning goal in the Terriers’ 1-0 victory over Colgate.
 
American’s senior midfielder Sebastian Garces, senior goalkeeper Matthew Tibbetts and sophomore defender Kobe Keomany, Boston University’s senior midfielder Ethan Gill, senior goalkeeper Sheraz Saadat and senior defender Quin DeLaMater and Bucknell junior defender Piela Kasper all received honorable mentions.
 
The Patriot League men’s soccer players of the week are chosen in a vote by League head coaches, who are not eligible to vote for their own student-athletes.

*Ennis anchored a backline that allowed just one shot on goal in Army West Point’s 4-0 shutout victory.
*The junior added an assist on Army West Point’s third goal with a well-placed cross that was headed home by Bamgbala.

Patriot League Men’s Soccer Goalkeeper of the Week
Michael Guiry, Army West Point, So., GK, Jacksonville, Fla./Fletcher

*Guiry earned his fifth shutout of the season with a 4-0 win in the Army-Navy Cup.
*The sophomore made one save and improved to 4-2-3 on the year while posting an .820 save percentage.
*Guiry has recorded 41 saves this season while allowing just 1.00 goals per match.
