Patriot League Women’s Basketball PenFed Credit Union Players of the Week Announced (11.10.25)

Lehigh and American each earned a weekly honor as the first PenFed Credit Union Women’s Basketball Weekly Awards were announced Monday

BETHLEHEM, Pa. — Lehigh junior guard Jessie Ozzauto was named Patriot League PenFed Credit Union Women’s Basketball Player of the Week, while American freshman forward Charlotte Tuhy earned Rookie of the Week honors, as announced by the League office on Monday.
 
Ozzauto received Player of the Week recognition after scoring a career-high 25 points in Lehigh’s Big 12 road win over Cincinnati.
 
Tuhy earned Rookie of the Week honors by recording a double-double in her collegiate debut against Delaware State.
 
Army West Point junior forward Kya Smith, Navy junior guard Zanai Barnett-Gay and freshman guard Zoe Mesuch, Holy Cross senior guard Mary-Elizabeth Donnelly, and Lafayette freshman guard Haylie Adamski received honorable mentions.
 
The Patriot League women’s basketball players of the week are selected in a vote by League media members and each school’s sports information director, who are not eligible to vote for their student-athletes.

Patriot League PenFed Credit Union Women’s Basketball Player of the Week
Jessie Ozzauto, Lehigh, Jr., G, Algonquin, Ill./Huntley

*Ozzauto scored a career-high 25 points with seven rebounds and four threes in a road win at Cincinnati, Lehigh’s first win over a current Big 12 team since 1999.
*The junior added 18 points and seven rebounds against two-time defending MAAC champion Fairfield.
*Ozzauto finished the opening week with double figures in both games, leading Lehigh in scoring and rebounding in each contest.
 
Patriot League PenFed Credit Union Women’s Basketball Rookie of the Week
Charlotte Tuhy, American, Fr., F, Madison, N.J./Madison
*Tuhy recorded a double-double in her collegiate debut with 13 points and a game-high 13 rebounds against Delaware State.
*The freshman added four assists and tied for second on the team in scoring during American’s season-opening win.
 
Honorable Mentions
Kya Smith, Army West Point, Jr., F, Lubbock, Tex./Coronado
Smith led Army West Point to a 2-0 start, posting 14 points and eight rebounds in the opener against Pace before delivering a 20-point, 11-rebound double-double in a comeback win at St. Thomas.
 
Zanai Barnett-Gay, Navy, Jr., G, Glenn Dale, Md./Riverdale Baptist
Barnett-Gay opened the year with 16 points, 10 rebounds and three assists, recording her 14th career double-double in Navy’s road win at Delaware.
 
Mary-Elizabeth Donnelly, Holy Cross, Sr., G, Manasquan, N.J./Manasquan
Donnelly helped Holy Cross upset Boston College with a strong all-around week, averaging 8 rebounds, shooting 52.9 percent from the field, and knocking down five three-pointers across two games. She added 11 points and seven rebounds in 30 minutes at No. 7 Duke and led the Crusaders in minutes, rebounds, field goal percentage, and threes made for the week.
 
Haylie Adamski, Lafayette, Fr., G, Media, Pa./Garnet Valley
Adamski broke out with 22 points, seven rebounds and five steals in the home opener vs. Le Moyne after contributing minutes in games against Villanova and Rider.
 
Zoe Mesuch, Navy, Fr., G, Clintondale, N.Y./Wallkill
Mesuch debuted with 16 points and four three-pointers, adding two rebounds and a steal to help Navy earn a road win at Delaware.
