BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Holy Cross claimed four Patriot League women’s soccer weekly awards presented by PenFed Credit Union, while Navy collected the other, when the League office announced the honors on Monday.
For the second time this season, Navy senior forward Marlee Heaven was named Patriot League Women’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week after scoring twice in a 2-1 week for the Mids.
Holy Cross senior Olivia Perez earned Patriot League Women’s Soccer Midfielder of the Week after totaling three points on a goal and an assist in a 2-0 week for the Crusaders.
Crusaders’ junior Karenna Beckstein was named Patriot League Women’s Soccer Defensive Player of the Week after recording her first goal of the season and two assists.
Holy Cross freshman Aubrey Haesche recorded nine saves, her first collegiate victory and a shutout to earn Patriot League Women’s Soccer Goalkeeper of the Week.
Crusaders’ freshman Cara Bubonovich garnered Patriot League Women’s Soccer Rookie of the Week honors after scoring her first collegiate goal in a 2-0 victory over Marist.
Honorable mentions went to Army West Point sophomore goalkeeper Karalyn Dail, senior defender Jordan Follenweider, junior forward Sabrina Rogers and senior midfielder Cami Silvestro, as well as Boston University senior midfielder Mackenzie Stickelman, Colgate first-year defender Sophia Ro, Lehigh first-year forward Savannah Conner, and Navy freshman defender Helen Bonner for their performances last week.
The Patriot League women’s soccer players of the week are selected in a vote by League head coaches, who are not eligible to vote for their student-athletes.

*Heaven found the back of the net twice in a 2-1 week for Navy, converting a penalty kick in the 84th minute at Maryland on Thursday, before burying a 20-yard free kick at Sacred Heart on Sunday.

Patriot League Women’s Soccer Midfielder of the Week
Olivia Perez, Holy Cross, Sr., Midfielder, Northport, N.Y./St. Anthony’s
*Perez helped Holy Cross to a 2-0 week with home victories over New Hampshire (3-1) and Marist (2-0), totaling three points on a goal and an assist.
*The Northport, N.Y. native scored the opening goal in the fourth minute against New Hampshire and recorded an assist on the game-winner in the 14th minute against Marist.
Patriot League Women’s Soccer Defensive Player of the Week
Karenna Beckstein, Holy Cross, Jr., Defender, Tyngsborough, Mass./Groton School
*Beckstein totaled four points on one goal and two assists in a 2-0 week for Holy Cross. In the 3-1 win over New Hampshire on Thursday, the junior scored her first goal of the season in the 39th minute.
*The Tyngsborough, Mass. native then assisted on both goals off corner kicks in the 2-0 victory over Marist on Sunday.
Patriot League Women’s Soccer Goalkeeper of the Week
Aubrey Haesche, Holy Cross, Fr., Goalkeeper, New City, N.Y./Albertus Magnus
*In a 2-0 week for Holy Cross, Haesche totaled nine saves, allowed one goal and earned her first collegiate victory and shutout.
*The freshman made four saves in a 3-1 win against New Hampshire on Thursday and followed with six saves and a shutout against Marist (2-0) on Sunday.
*The New City, N.Y. native leads the Patriot League in save percentage (.864) and ranks second in goals-against average (.721).

*Follenweider recorded one goal and one assist in a 1-0-1 week for Army West Point. The senior scored the game-winning goal, the first of her career, in the 90th minute against Central Connecticut State on Thursday.
*She added an assist on the opening goal in a 2-2 draw with Maine on Sunday.
Sabrina Rogers, Army West Point, Jr., Forward, Brentwood, Calif./Heritage
*Rogers played a key role in a 1-0-1 week for Army West Point, scoring twice in the Black Knights’ 2-2 draw with Maine on Sunday.
*The junior put the Black Knights ahead 1-0 with a goal in the 52nd minute before tying the game with one second remaining at 89:59.
*The Brentwood, Calif. native is tied for third in the Patriot League in goals (3) and fourth in points (7).

*Silvestro finished with one goal and one assist for a three-point week as Army West Point went 1-0-1. The senior scored in the 50th minute against Central Connecticut State on Thursday and assisted on the opening goal against Maine.

*Stickelman provided the game-winning goal in the 84th minute of Boston University’s 2-1 road victory over San Francisco on Thursday. It marked the fifth career goal for the senior.
