BETHLEHEM, Pa. — Colgate earned two weekly awards, while Bucknell claimed one, when the Patriot League announced its softball weekly honors on Monday.
Colgate junior outfielder Nora Megenity was named Patriot League Player of the Week after batting .520 with five home runs, 12 RBIs and eight runs scored while posting a 1.080 slugging percentage and .571 on-base percentage in a 5–1 week.
Bucknell freshman pitcher Avery Powers earned Patriot League Pitcher of the Week honors after going 1–0 with 11 strikeouts over 8.0 innings, allowing just two runs while tossing a complete-game victory.
Colgate first-year infielder Kayla Martin was selected as Patriot League Rookie of the Week after batting .450 with eight RBIs and five runs scored while posting a .560 on-base percentage and 1.410 OPS during a 5–1 week.
Boston University’s Sophie Naivar, Kasey Ricard and Irys Kline, Army West Point’s Ashton White and Amanda Eaglin and Bucknell’s Barbara Jo Coppola earned honorable mention recognition.
The Patriot League softball players of the week are selected in a vote by each school’s head softball coach, who are not eligible to vote for their student-athletes.

*Megenity batted .520 (13-for-25) with five home runs, 12 RBIs and eight runs scored, posting a 1.080 slugging percentage and .571 on-base percentage in a 5-1 week.
*She recorded a hit in all three wins at Lehigh, going 5-for-10 with two home runs and three RBIs during the program’s first-ever three-game sweep of the Mountain Hawks.

*Martin hit .450 (9-for-20) with a .560 on-base percentage and 1.410 OPS, adding two home runs, two doubles, eight RBIs and five runs scored in a 5-1 week.
*She went 4-for-5 with a home run, two doubles and two RBIs in a win over Lehigh, while also delivering a game-tying solo homer in the seventh inning of a comeback victory.
*Martin reached base safely in all six games, drawing five walks to just two strikeouts while helping Colgate to its best Patriot League start since 2012.

Naivar batted a team-high .636 with seven runs scored and a .789 on-base percentage to help BU go 5-0, highlighted by a 7-for-11 week with seven walks.

White hit .545 with six hits, two RBIs and a stolen base, including four hits with two RBIs in a doubleheader at Rider.

Ricard went 2-0 with two complete-game shutouts, totaling 10 strikeouts over 12.0 innings while moving within five wins of the Patriot League career record.

Eaglin posted a 0.95 ERA over 14.2 innings, including an eight-inning, one-hit performance with seven strikeouts in a win over Fairfield.

Kline hit .412 with eight runs scored, four RBIs, a double and a home run while posting a .545 on-base percentage to help BU go 5-0.

Coppola batted .429 with four walks for a .636 on-base percentage, adding two doubles, including a key seventh-inning hit in a Game 3 comeback victory.
