BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Navy collected four of the six Patriot League M-F Athletics Outdoor Track and Field weekly awards, when the League office announced the first set of honors on Tuesday. American and Army West Point each received one award.
American sophomore Daniel Messer collected Patriot League M-F Athletic Outdoor Men’s Track Athlete of the Week honors after winning the 3,000m steeplechase at the Fred Hardy Invitational. Messer clocked the Patriot League’s fastest time at 9:15.54, which ranks seventh in NCAA Division I.
Navy senior Caroline Rey earned Patriot League M-F Athletic Outdoor Women’s Track Athlete of the Week recognition after clocking the League’s fastest times in the 100m (11.99) and 100m hurdles (14.36).
Army West Point senior Robby Manse was named the Patriot League M-F Athletic Outdoor Men’s Field Athlete of the Week for the first time in his career. Manse recorded a Patriot League-leading mark of 63.15m in the weight throw, which ranks 20th nationally.
Navy sophomore Zoie Tesi was honored as the Patriot League M-F Athletic Outdoor Women’s Field Athlete of the Week after recording the League’s top marks in the high jump and triple jump through two weekends of outdoor competition.
The Mids’ freshman Jordan Wolverton was selected as the Patriot League M-F Athletic Outdoor Men’s Rookie of the Week after winning the triple jump, placing second in the 4x400m, finishing fourth in the 400m hurdles and seventh in the 110m hurdles at the Virginia Opener.
Navy’s Julia Norris collected Patriot League M-F Athletic Outdoor Women’s Rookie of the Week honors following fifth-place finishes in the discus and shot put at the Virginia Opener. The freshman leads the Patriot League in the discus (47.85m).
Honorable mentions went to American’s Zoe Clark, Army West Point’s Van Carter, Kiana Emerson, Joyce Philippe and Ryan Rheam, Lehigh’s Harper Glennon, Lauryn Heskin, Grace Nation and Konstantinos Panagopoulos, Navy’s Nick Simmons and David Walker.

*Messer captured the 3,000m steeplechase title at the Fred Hardy Invitational with a winning-time of 9:15.54.

*Rey recorded a third-place finish in the 100m (11.99), fourth in the 100m hurdles (14.36) and helped Navy win the 4x100m with the fourth-fastest time in school history (46.03).
*The senior’s times in the 100m and 100m hurdles lead the Patriot League.

Robby Manse, Army West Point, Sr., Middletown, N.J./Christian Brothers Academy
*Manse secured a third-place finish in the hammer throw at the Army Open with a Patriot League-leading throw of 63.15m, which ranks first in the Northeast Region and 20th in NCAA Division I.

*Tesi captured the high jump title at the Virginia Opener with the second-best mark in Navy history at 1.76m, which leads the Patriot League
*Last weekend, the sophomore recorded the League’s top triple jump mark at 12.28m.
Patriot League Outdoor Men’s Rookie of the Week
Jordan Wolverton, Navy, Fr., Winston-Salem, N.C./Mount Tabor
*Wolverton captured the high jump title (2.10m) and helped Navy finish second in the 4x400m (3:15.64) at the Virginia Opener.
*The freshman added a fourth-place finish in the 400m hurdles (54.85) and took seventh in the 110m hurdles (14.81).
Patriot League Outdoor Women’s Rookie of the Week
Julia Norris, Navy, Fr., Lutherville, Md./McDonogh
*Norris posted a solid outing at the Virginia Opener, placing fifth in both the shot put (13.95m) and discus (44.67m) as well as ninth in the hammer throw (47.06m).
*The freshman leads the Patriot League in the discus (47.85m), ranks second in the shot put (13.95m) and fifth in the hammer throw (47.06m).

*Clark placed third in the 200m (25.33) and fourth in the 400m (57.62) at Fred Hardy Invitational.
Van Carter, Army West Point, Fr., Niceville, Fla./Niceville
*Carter placed first in the pole vault (4.75m) and second in the long jump (6.64m) at the Army Open as he ranks third and eighth, respectively, in the Patriot League.
Kiana Emerson, Army West Point, Sr., Redding, Calif./West Valley
*Emerson captured the hammer throw title (55.68m) and took fifth in the discus (40.17m) at the Army Open. The senior leads the Patriot League in the hammer and ranks seventh in the discus.
Joyce Philippe, Army West Point, Fr., Lowell, Mass./Greater Lowell Tech
*Philippe won the long jump at the Army Open with a mark of 5.49m, which ranks second in the Patriot League.
Ryan Rheam, Army West Point, So., Bloomington, Ind./Bloomington South
*Rheam won the 5,000m at the Army Open with a personal-best time of 14:46.34 which ranks first in the Patriot League and Northeast Region.
Harper Glennon, Lehigh, Fy., Gilbertsville, Pa./Boyertown
*Glennon won the 100m with the second-best time in the Patriot League at 12.11 and finished fourth in the 200m (25.62) at the Keystone State Challenge.
Lauryn Heskin, Lehigh, Gr., Bellerose Village, N.Y./Marymount School of New York
*Heskin won the 1,500m at the Keystone State Challenge with a personal-best time of 4:29.55, which leads the Patriot League and ranks seventh at Lehigh.
Grace Nation, Lehigh, Sr., Orefield, Pa./Parkland
*Nation won the triple jump at the Keystone State Challenge with a personal-best leap of 11.96m, which ranks second in the Patriot League. The senior added a 13th-place finish in the long jump (4.65m).
Konstantinos Panagopoulos, Lehigh, Fy., Allentown, Pa./Emmaus
*Panagopoulos placed third in the long jump (7.13m) and fourth in the triple jump (13.20m) at the Keystone State Challenge
Nick Simmons, Navy, Jr., Portsmouth, Va./Manor
*Simmons recorded a trio of top-three finishes at the Virginia Opener, placing second in the triple jump (13.98m) and 4x400m (3:15.54) as well as third in the long jump (6.93m).
David Walker, Navy, Jr., McKinney, Texas/Independence
*Walker won the 400m hurdles with a time of 52.61 and helped Navy to a runner-up finish in the 4x400m (3:15.64) at the Virginia Opener.

PATRIOT LEAGUE OUTDOOR TRACK AND FIELD CHAMPIONSHIPS
The 2026 Patriot League Men's and Women's Outdoor Track and Field Championships will be held in Annapolis, Md., at the United States Naval Academy’s Ingram Field, beginning Friday, May 15 and concluding on Saturday, May. 16. All nine men's programs and each of the 10 women's teams will compete.
