Army West Point's Duffy Selected Third Overall in the Inaugural WLL Draft

BRISTOL, Conn. – Army West Point women's lacrosse senior Brigid Duffy was selected third overall by the Maryland Charm on Wednesday night in the inaugural WLL draft.

Duffy has been a key contributor for the Black Knights since her freshman campaign. The senior midfielder currently holds the program career record in goals, shots, free position goals, ground balls and draw controls. She has been named a Tewaaraton Award Watch List in four consecutive seasons and was named a Nike Lacrosse Midseason First Team All-American.

Additionally, she made history being named to the US Lacrosse Women's National Field Team. In 2025, she set a new single season program record in goals, groundballs and caused turnover, while breaking the career program record in goals, points, ground and caused turnovers. The two sport phenom, was an IL Women First Second Team All-American and a Tewaaraton Award Top 25 Finalist in 2025.

Thru the 2026 season, she leads the Patriot League goals with 53 goals and third with 75 points. She also leads the Patriot League in shots with 119. Nationally, she ranks sixth in country in goals per game and ninth in total goals
