WEST POINT, N.Y. – The 2026 Patriot League Men’s Golf Championship begins on Friday, April 24, at the par-70, 6,136-yard West Point Golf Course in West Point, N.Y. Army West Point hosts the eight-team field that includes Bucknell, Colgate, Holy Cross, Lafayette, Lehigh, Loyola Maryland and Navy.

NINE ALL-LEAGUE RETURNERS HIGHLIGHT THE 2026 CHAMPIONSHIP FIELD
Bucknell’s Jack Hartman, the 2025 Patriot League Men’s Golf Rookie of the Year, Colgate’s Leo Li and Loyola Maryland’s Gustavo Rangel return to the 2026 Patriot League Championship field after earning First-Team All-League honors last season.
Six more Second Team All-Patriot League selections from last year’s championship will also be back this season, including Army West Point’s Griffin Garvin, Bucknell’s Patrick Pritsios, Holy Cross’ Ryan Scollins, Lehigh’s Jake Roth, Loyola Maryland’s Eli Spaulding and Navy’s Chip Deegan. Scollins is the lone multi-year All-League selection in the field, as he made the second team in 2024 and 2025.
CROWNING A TEAM CHAMPION: Each of the eight participating teams consists of six golfers, with the top four scorers in each round counting toward the team score. The final team score will be determined by totaling all completed rounds. Individual scoring consists of the lowest aggregate score of all completed rounds.
INDIVIDUAL HONORS: The competitor with the lowest three-round score will be the Patriot League Men’s Golf Championship individual medalist. The top six finishers receive a spot on the Patriot League Men’s Golf All-Tournament Team. The Patriot League men’s golf major awards - player of the year, rookie of the year and coaching staff of the year – will be selected by the coaches at the conclusion of the championship.
TEAM CHAMPION EARNS AUTOMATIC BID TO THE NCAA REGIONALS: The Patriot League Champion will receive the League’s automatic bid to the NCAA DI Men’s Golf Regionals. The individual medalist will also receive a bid to the regionals if they are not on the championship team. The NCAA Regionals will be held from May 18-20 at six sites around the country, including Athens, Ga., Bermuda Run, N.C., Bryan, Texas, Columbus, Ohio, Corvallis, Ore. and Marana, Ariz. The NCAA Championship is scheduled for May 29 to June 3 in Carlsbad, Calif. The 2026 NCAA Division I Men’s Golf Selection Show will be on GOLF Channel on Wednesday, May 6, at 2 p.m. ET.
UNITED STATES MILITARY ACADEMY HOSTS GOLF CHAMPIONSHIP FOR THE SIXTH TIME: Army West Point hosts the Patriot League Men’s Golf Championship for the sixth time at the West Point Golf Course in West Point, N.Y. Four different teams have claimed the Patriot League title at West Point Golf Course. The championship was last held at West Point in 2014 when Loyola Maryland claimed its first League crown. Bucknell won the team title in 2009, and Lehigh won in 1997. Army West Point won League titles on its home course in 1992 and 2002.
