BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The 2024-25 Patriot League Men's and Women's Indoor Track and Field Championships will be held in Annapolis, Maryland at the United States Naval Academy. Events at Wesley A. Brown Field House begin Saturday, Mar. 1, and conclude on Sunday, Mar. 2. All nine men's programs and each of the 10 women's teams will compete. This marks the eighth time Navy will host the Patriot League Men's and Women's Indoor Track and Field Championships. Patriot League on ESPN+ Coverage
Track events for the 2024-25 Patriot League Indoor Track and Field Championships will be streamed on ESPN+. Field events during the championship will not be streamed, but up-to-date content featuring Patriot League multimedia journalist Paige Messier will be available by following @PatriotLeague on Instagram.
Patriot League Championship Major Awards
All-Patriot League status will be determined by the event finishes at the 2024-25 Patriot League Men's and Women's Indoor Track and Field Championship, with first-place winners earning first-team All-League honors. The runner-up in each event will earn second-team honors.
Following the conclusion of the meet, the League head coaches will vote on several individual major awards. A men's and women's track athlete, field athlete and rookie of the meet will be selected. Men's and women's coach of the year awards will also be selected. The Patriot League will also present awards to the men's and women's highest scorers of the meet.
Navy Women Aiming for Sixth Straight League Title
The Navy women's indoor track and field team has captured five consecutive titles from 2019-2024 (
*no champion awarded during 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic) and has collected eight League team titles in program history. Five-time defending Patriot League Women's Indoor Track and Field Coach of the Year Jamie Cook's squad totaled 188 points with Boston University finishing as the runner-up with 148 points. Army West Point (135), Bucknell (105.5) and Lehigh (56) rounding out the top five.
Midshipmen Men's Looking for Tenth Title Since 2013
The Navy men's indoor track and field squad claimed their fourth-straight title run following their team victory in 2023. The Mids have claimed ten of the last eleven men's team titles, totaling 242.5 points in their 2023-24 victory. Army West Point placed second with 152.5 points, while Boston University finished third with 110 points. Bucknell (60.5) and Holy Cross (40) finished fourth and fifth, respectively.
