Navy’s Men, Army West Point’s Women Claim Team Titles at 2026 Patriot League Outdoor Track and Field Championships (5.16.26)

Eleven Patriot League Championship records were broken during the two-day meet

ANNAPOLIS, Md. – The Navy men and Army West Point women claimed the 2026 Patriot League Outdoor Track and Field titles after the two-day championship meet at the United States Naval Academy’s Ingram Field. The Midshipmen won their 12th straight men’s crown and 13th in program history, while the Black Knights won their second consecutive women’s title for their 10th in team history. 
 
The Navy men scored 298 points, the most at the Patriot League Championship since 2023. Army West Point finished second on the men’s leaderboard with 199.5 points, while Bucknell placed third with 99.5 points. Boston University (77) and Lafayette (50) placed fourth and fifth, respectively, with Holy Cross (49), Lehigh (44), American (32) and Colgate (8) rounding out the nine-team field. 
 
Army West Point’s women finished with 201.58 points, edging Navy (197.33) to capture its second straight title. Boston University finished third with 172.25 points, with Bucknell (115.25) and Lehigh (72) to make up the top five. Holy Cross (40), Loyola Maryland (22), Colgate (17.33), Lafayette (13.25) and American (6) completed the 2026 women’s championship standings. 
 
Army West Point’s Charlotte Richman was selected as the Patriot League Women’s Track Athlete of the Meet after winning the 10,000 meters, the 5,000m and the 1,500m. Richman also won the Patriot League Women’s Highest Point Scorer award. The Black Knights’ Joshua Duncan claimed Patriot League Men’s Track Athlete of the Meet honors after wins in the 100m, 200m and as part of Army West Point’s winning 4x100-meter relay. Duncan received the Patriot League Men’s Highest Point Scorer award. 
 
Bucknell’s Evelyn Bliss garnered Patriot League Women’s Field Athlete of the Meet accolades after shattering the Patriot League Championship record in the javelin with a throw of 60.02 meters. Navy’s Nicolas Simmons earned Patriot League Men’s Field Athlete of the Meet honors after winning the decathlon with 7,244 points. 
 
Loyola Maryland’s Caroline Blakeslee was selected as the Patriot League Women’s Rookie of the Meet, helping the Greyhounds earn a second-place finish in the women’s 4x100-meter relay. Navy’s Jason Keiser captured Patriot League Men’s Rookie of the Meet honors, winning the 110m hurdles and helping the Mids’ 4x100-meter relay team to a second-place finish. 
 
Navy, led by Jamie Cook, claimed the Patriot League Women’s Track and Field Coaching Staff of the Year. Army West Point, led by Mike Smith, received Patriot League Men’s Track and Field Coaching Staff of the Year honors following the championship.
