BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Bucknell junior shortstop Ty Lagoni and Navy junior right-handed pitcher (RHP) Matt Archibald earned Patriot League Player and Pitcher of the Week, respectively, when the League office announced baseball weekly honors on Monday. Bison freshman RHP Brady Hoar the received Patriot League Rookie of the Week.
Bucknell’s Lagoni collected his first Patriot League Baseball Player of the Week, batting .533 (8-for-15) with seven RBIs and four runs to help the Bison go 3-1 last week, including a three-game sweep over Lafayette.
Navy’s Archibald is the third different Mid to earn Patriot League Pitcher of the Week this season after throwing 8.0 shutout innings with nine strikeouts to earn the win in a 3-0 victory over Lehigh.
Bucknell’s Hoar took home Patriot League Baseball Rookie of the Week honors by tossing 6.0 shutout innings to earn the win in an 8-0 decision against Lafayette on Sunday.
Army West Point senior RHP Kevin Reavey, Bucknell junior RHP Jonathan Adelmann, Holy Cross junior infielder Alex Sandell and senior RHP Jaden Wywoda, Lehigh first-year shortstop Silvio Giardina and sophomore LHP Jake Mulvehill and Navy freshman infielder Tyler Cripe received honorable mentions for their performances last week.

*Lagoni batted .533 (8-for-15) with seven RBIs, four runs scored and two walks to help Bucknell go 3-1 last week, including a three-game sweep over Lafayette.
*The junior shortstop went 4-for-5 with two RBIs and a triple in the Bison’s 8-5 win over the Leopards in the series opener. He went 3-for-7 with three RBIs and three runs in the final two games.

*Archibald tossed a career-high 8.0 shutout innings to pick up the win in Navy’s 3-0 victory over Lehigh on Saturday.
*The junior right-hander struck out nine in 8.0 innings, scattering five hits and walking three to pick up his second win of the season and record his third-straight quality start.
*He has recorded nine or more strikeouts in his last three starts, and leads the Patriot League with 44.
PATRIOT LEAGUE BASEBALL ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Brady Hoar, Bucknell, FR., RHP, Tampa, Fla./Jesuit
*Hoar earned the win by tossing 6.0 scoreless innings with a career-high seven strikeouts in Bucknell’s 8-0 victory over Lafayette on Sunday.
*The freshman right-hander stranded eight base runners, striking out two batters with the bases loaded in the fourth inning.
*In the sixth inning, he retired two straight batters, including his seventh strikeout, to hold the Leopards scoreless.

*Reavey allowed one run on six hits over 7.1 innings to earn the win in the Black Knights’ 5-1 victory over Holy Cross. He struck out eight and walked just one batter.
Jonathan Adelmann, Bucknell, Jr., RHP, Mt. Laurel, N.J./Lenape
*Adelmann earned his first win of the season in an 8-5 victory over Lafayette, allowing two runs on three hits over 7.0 innings while striking out a career-high 10 batters.
Alex Sandell, Holy Cross, Jr., Inf., Cambridge, Mass./Buckingham Browne & Nichols
*Sandell batted .375 (3-for-8) with an .875 slugging percentage and .583 on-base percentage to help the Crusaders take two of three games against Army West Point. He went 1-for-3 with a double and two runs scored in a 6-1 win on Friday. The junior infielder went 2-for-3 with a home run in a 5-1 loss in game two.

*Wywoda improved to 2-1 on the season, earning the decision in a 6-1 win over Army West Point. He allowed one run on seven hits over 6.0 innings with four strikeouts.

*Giardina batted .455 (5-for-11) with three runs scored to help Lehigh go 2-2 last week, including taking two of three games from Navy. The first-year shortstop went 3-for-3 with a run scored in the Mountain Hawks’ 3-1 victory on Sunday.

*Mulvehill allowed one run on three hits over 6.1 innings to earn the win in a 3-1 victory over Navy on Sunday. He struck out six and walked none. After giving up a solo home run in the first inning, he retired 17 of his next 18 batters.
Tyler Cripe, Navy, Fr., Inf., Parrish, Fla./Parrish Community
*Cripe batted .462 (6-for-13) during a four-game week with a team-best six RBI while slugging .692 and reaching base at a .533 clip. He went 3-for-4 with a home run, five RBIs and three runs scored in a 15-8 victory over Norfolk State.
