BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Navy’s First Varsity 8+ boat garnered Patriot League Boat of the Week, when the League office announced the honors on Tuesday.

Regatta: Temple Invitational – Schuylkill River, Philadelphia, Pa. / 2,000 meters
*Navy’s First Varsity 8+ captured a pair of victories on Saturday at the 2026 Temple Invitational, beginning in the morning session with a 9.98-second margin win over Temple, Delaware and Georgetown after finishing in 6:21.53.
In the afternoon session, the Mids collected an open-water win with a time of 6:26.23, competing against Fordham, Temple and Monmouth.

*Boston University’s First Varsity 8+ opened the spring season with a pair of victories as the Terriers defeated Cornell and Colgate with times of 7:05.1 and 6:54.9, respectively.
Bucknell First Varsity 8+
Regatta: Bucknell vs. MIT, Holy Cross – Charles River, Boston, Mass. / 2,000 meters
*In its first competition of the spring, Bucknell's First Varsity Eight+ defeated Patriot League rivals MIT and Holy Cross on the Charles River with a time of 6:47.90.
Colgate First Varsity 8+
Regatta: Cayuga Inlet Dual – Cayuga Inlet, Ithaca, N.Y. / 2,000 meters
*Colgate First Varsity 8+ opened the day of racing with a dual win against George Washington, crossing the line first in 7:05.00.
Lehigh Second Varsity 8+
Regatta: Lehigh vs. Fairfield, Loyola Maryland, Iona – Lake Nockamixon, Lake Nockamixon, Pa. / 2,000 meters
*The Mountain Hawks’ Second Varsity Eight+ picked up a pair of victories on Saturday at Lake Nockamixon, defeating Fairfield (7:10.19 to 7:20.48) and Loyola Maryland (6:49.97 to 7:02.44).

PATRIOT LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIP
The 2026 Patriot League Women’s Rowing Championship will be held on Cooper River in Pennsauken, N.J., on Friday, May 15. Patriot League members Boston University, Bucknell, Colgate, Georgetown, Holy Cross, Lehigh, Loyola Maryland, MIT and Navy will compete in the full-field championship, which features Varsity Eight, Second Varsity Eight, Varsity Four and Second Varsity Four races. The winning team receives the Patriot League's automatic berth to the NCAA Championship. Boston University is the defending Patriot League champion.
